Level and other requirements

When taking this course you should also be interested in basic chemistry; a detailed knowledge of chemistry is not required. Texts, tasks and the final examination will deal with chemistry and related subjects, but it will not be necessary to demonstrate any chemical knowledge of chemistry.

If you are a student or a professional working in science - knowing English scientific terminology or not- and you wish to communicate in English effectively in professional contexts, such as meetings, presentations, lectures, lab reports, etc. - then you are welcome! The course takes you to a higher level of competence (B2) in English.

This course is especially useful for

• chemistry and chemistry-related subjects who will study and/or work abroad,
• Chemists working in industry.
